Start with identity
Record the exact legal business name, entity type, registration country and registration number where applicable. Separate the legal name from your trading name or app brand.
Check your address and contacts
Prepare registered and operating addresses, a reachable business phone number, company-controlled email and an authorized contact. Note differences between registration records and platform profiles instead of silently choosing one.
Choose the right entity evidence
For companies, incorporation details may be relevant; for LLPs, LLP registration details; for partnerships, the deed and applicable registration; for proprietorships, evidence connecting the owner and business. PAN, GST, Udyam or local records may be relevant depending on the case. D&B decides the final evidence required.
Keep sensitive records out of initial enquiries
Start by sharing entity type, country and purpose. Agree an appropriate document-handling route with the team before sending identity records. Never share OTPs or account passwords.
